2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime: Starting at $44,835 and Featuring Power and Efficiency

The Toyota RAV4 Prime small SUV is a strong refutation of the conventional adage that you can't be all things to all people, with a manufacturer-estimated 42-mile electric range, a 38 mpg combined rating, and enough power for 5.5-second 0-60 mph sprints. Additionally, the RAV4 Prime enters the 2024 model year unmodified and already has most of the features customers look for in new automobiles.

Vehicle Engine and Efficiency

The 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine in the RAV4 Prime is the same as in the RAV4 Hybrid, but two electric motors increase system output to 302 horsepower. When necessary, one of those motors drives the Prime's rear wheels to provide all-wheel drive. The SUV can go up to 42 miles on its 18.1-kilowatt-hour battery pack without using petrol.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ as a minimum

All 2024 RAV4 Prime models come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+. It has autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning with pedestrian identification, and turns with a computerized eye out for traffic and pedestrians. Highway driving is made easier by adaptive cruise control and active lane-centering steering. Additionally, standards are rear cross-traffic warning and blind-spot monitors.

Accessibility and Cost

Later this year, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime will debut on the market. Both prices include $1,395 for delivery, with the SE trim level starting at $44,835 and the XSE starting at $48,705, respectively.
