Report: Hunter Biden's attorneys threatened to call the president to testify.

According to a source, Hunter Biden's attorneys sent prosecutors a warning last year that if criminal charges were ever brought against him, the defense would call the president to testify to support his son.

The court was worried about ongoing investigations into further crimes that Hunter may have committed, including failing to register as a foreign agent for lucrative business ties with foreign nations that allegedly implicated his father. After a lengthy interrogation, Clark pronounced the agreement "null and void."

According to Politico, during private conversations the months before, Clark and his staff frequently expressed concern about the heated political climate surrounding the case.

They worried about Republican legislators' pressure and suggested that the case may damage the DOJ's credibility.

According to Clark, the president's son's trial would destabilize the constitution by putting the president against his own Justice Department.

In his essay, Clark stated that "this of all cases does not justify either the spectacle of a sitting President testifying at a criminal trial or the potential for a resulting constitutional crisis."

On Thursday, Noreika dismissed the first son Hunter Biden's tax misdemeanor charges.

The appointment will enable him to file charges without the obstruction of Biden appointees in other districts who previously opposed Weiss's attempts to accuse Hunter of committing millions in tax fraud.

Hunter is anticipated to go on trial in Southern California or Washington, DC.
