Cristiano Ronaldo's chances of staying at Manchester United for the upcoming season are fading

Perhaps one of the best players, Cristiano Ronaldo, might leave Manchester United for the second time after the season. As a Manchester United supporter, the club is my complete focus. However, it won't be easy to see my favorite footballer depart the club again.

But, after watching his MUTV interview yesterday, I'm psychologically prepared to take that bitter pill. Yesterday's interview demonstrated how anxious Ronaldo is to quit the club. You can disguise your feelings with words, but your facial expressions will not lie, and it is obvious.

Cristiano's return to our club was like a fairy tale. Yes, we developed the greatest player of all time, and he returned to us at the request of his footballing father, Sir Alex Ferguson, to lead us to the next level. The scene was set for the GOAT, and he was doing his normal thing, scoring goals.

But football is a team sport, and his teammates are on a different stage doing a striptease for other teams and their fans, while Cristiano is doing his normal ballet and hypnotizing everyone. It also hurts him to see how low the standards have become at the club he enjoys.

Cristiano Ronaldo is returning to Manchester United for a reason.

When Cristiano Ronaldo initially arrived at Manchester United, we were a European footballing powerhouse. And now we're in the middle of nothing. Cristiano Ronaldo adores Manchester United because he has many fond memories of the club.

At the Bernabéu, even Real Madrid supporters booed him. When Cristiano arrived in Old Trafford to play against Manchester United, our fans sang, "VIVA Ronaldo." Even Juventus supporters turned against him later in his tenure in Turin. But he'll never receive that at Manchester United. We worship him here.

The adoration of his fans is the one thing that motivates Cristiano Ronaldo. And he knew he'd receive enough of it here at Old Trafford. He also wished to elevate Manchester United to the pinnacle of English, European, and global football.

Ronaldo Wants Ballon d'Or

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's rivalry is undeniable. Ronaldo has five Ballon d'Or awards, while Messi has seven. So, Ronaldo is certain that he will win the next Ballon d'Or. However, based on his individual and team performance, it appears to be a far cry.

He understands that remaining at Manchester United will not help him win the Ballon d'Or again. His squad isn't good enough to supply him with quality service so he can score more goals. At the end of the season, he will search for a new team, maybe PSG.

Cristiano Ronaldo Wants to Play in the UEFA Champions League

Can you picture a season of Champions League football without the best player to ever participate in the competition, even if he is not retired and is still playing at the highest level? I can't fathom it because Cristiano Ronaldo is well aware of the importance of the Champions League to his career.

Manchester United is now eighth in the Premier League table and eliminated from the Champions League. As a result, Man United's qualifying prospects for the Champions League are extremely limited, and Ronaldo is well aware of this. As a result, he would quit the club to compete in the UCL the following year.

Ronaldo's Indication of Departure from the Club

You're probably asking how I know CR7 will quit the club next year if we don't qualify for the Champions League. Cristiano has received the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards from Manchester United, and its club's supporters decided it.

His strike against Tottenham at Old Trafford was named Goal of the Month. When asked where he would rate the Goal that earned him the Goal of the Month honor, he replied, "Perhaps in the top 20 or ten." It informed me that Ronaldo was irritated by the inquiry.

When asked to thank the club's supporters for awarding him Player of the Month, he stated that he would do all to keep the fans happy until the conclusion of the season. He didn't say anything about the next season, which was a dead giveaway to me.

Ronaldo Is Sick with the Club's Financial Attitude

Whether you believe it or not, our club has become a financial institution rather than a footballing institution since the Glazers took it.

We keep inventing storylines to keep our fan base happy, even while the club's on-field performance declines with each passing season.

When the greatest player of all time returns to your team, he will see through those fabricated claims on social media.

He wants to ensure that the club plays the finest football possible.

But our players, management, board, and everyone else's attitude irritates him.

The Bottom Line

That interview gave me a strong hint that Ronaldo intends to quit the club.

Yes, it will be excruciatingly painful for Manchester United supporters.

But, in the end, the club comes first.

Manchester United is more than simply a football club to many followers, including me.

Manchester United will always be Cristiano Ronaldo's home, whether he plays for us.

And, when the CR7 departs, I will say, "THANK YOU, RONNIE, and best of luck with your new team," from the bottom of my heart.
